Count Down Until The Weekend…

Well I woke at 5am when Adam was leaving this morning and could not for the life of me fall back to sleep! UGH I hate when that happens! I must have though because my alarm woke me up at 7:30. I got up and got ready and had a nice bowl of oats to get me going for my busy day with the rug rats ;) 007

I brought my mug of coffee with me on my walk as usual. The morning surprisingly flew by and it was lunch time and boy was I hungry! I had cottage cheese and apple and I’d say about a cup of darn Froot Loops! I swear these things are my kryptonite.. hahah

Around 3:40 I walked home and got ready for the gym I also came home to a box of Honest Foods!!! I forgot to take a picture of my goodies but I will definitely get a picture tomorrow for ya guys ;) I snacked on 2 handfuls of grapes before heading out. I did 2.25 miles on the treadmill while watching Oprah then came home and showered. Adam and I sat and talked for a few before making some din din. I had a Boca “chicken” patty with a slice of cheese, half a sweet potato with Newman’s Own Mango Salsa and a few bread and butter pickles… The salsa seemed EXTRA SPICY tonight so I ate 1/2 a piece of bread to cool it down a bit ;) 008

We went to Shop Rite and did some damage!! I came home.. ate more grapes.. I swear I am going to turn into a grape one day!! and then settled on one of my delish Chocolate Chip cookies from last night.. This hit the spot! 010

Monday’s Gone With The Wind….

OMG the wind is/was out of control today! It woke me up a few times during the night :( I was scared to death when my actual alarm woke me up this morning… lol…. I got up got ready and had a GNU Bar in Chocolate Brownie. This is by far my favorite! 013 011

The runner up is the Cinnamon Raisin one ;) I brought a mug of coffee with me on my WINDY walk to work. I just couldn’t drive to work knowing it was sunny out!

The morning flew by and before I knew it, it was lunch time. I was getting hungry so I had my Dannon Light and Fit Mixed Berry with granola and lots of pineapple. MMMMM At snack time I had a chocolate chip cookie with the kiddies. After work I walked home in the cold wind and got ready for the gym. I snacked on some more pineapple and some grapes before heading out. I did a bit over 2 miles on the treadmill and lifted, then came home to get Adam to run to pick up some things from my parents and Cost Cutters, since they are going out of business… They had nothing exciting though so we bought a few Arizona Iced Teas to go with din din :)

I  had my leftover sushi I had picked up from Wegman’s on Saturday. It was a brown rice California salad roll, I was upset that it was the “salad” roll I don’t like mayo but I couldn’t taste much thank goodness!

After dinner I was antsy so I made some of Vive Le Vegan’s Home style Chocolate Chip Cookies. OMG I love these so much! I had one (and so did Adam) I also snacked on some chocolate chips while making these.. :-D it made me very happy! 016

I’m back I promise!!

Well I’ve been having internet issues for a few days now but I am finally up and running.. at least for the moment ;) I also downloaded windows live writer to make my life easier, since I’ve heard great things about it!

Ok onto today's eats: I slept in until 8:30 today and was very surprised and not very hungry at all!! very very odd for me.. but my allergies are acting up so that could be the reason. I decided on a usual bowl of oats with a HUGE mug of coffee to try and get me moving this morning since Adam and I had a busy day today. 007

We went to my school so I could put up new bulletin boards and do a few other things. Then we were off to the mall to go to Liberty Travel to put a deposit in for our HONEYMOON!!! wohooo I can’t wait to be sitting on a beautiful beach drinking something fruity! only 7.5 months to go! We were finally home around 1:30 after our running around to a few other places and I was starving!   

I had a Dannon Light and Fit Pineapple Coconut with some granola on top and some orange/pineapple slices.. I had more than was pictured but I snacked before I got to the camera..

I made Adam a Betty Crocker Cinnamon Swirl coffee cake breadish thingy for his breakfast during the week. (gotta make sure he eats something) I snacked on some of the batter.. ok a lot of the batter!!! HAHAH I did a few things around the apartment and then finally got hungry for dinner around 6:30 and made a tasty grilled cheese on ww bread with lots of ketchup. I also had some bread and butter pickles and Stacy’s multigrain pita chips.. There was also lots of pineapple eaten while figuring out what I felt like… lol

SO SO FULL!

Hi Bloggies :)

This morning was a slow start... I just could not get my arse in gear! I was stuffy and sleepy, darn allergies!! But that means spring is acoming!!! I had my usual bowl of oats this morning and brought a mug of hot chocolate on my walk with me this morning. The morning flew by even though the kids were WILD!!! I heard there is a full moon tomorrow.. this explains everything, if you work with children or even adults.. you know what I am talking about! lol

Lunch was a Dannon Light and Fit Mixed Berry with some of my granola and cantaloupe on the side. This totally hit the spot, except it made me cold for the rest of the afternoon and I could not warm up for the life of me. Snack time came and I had 2 chocolate chip cookies with the kiddies.. yum yum. I left on time today and walked home to get ready for the gym, I was hungry so I munched on some peanuts and grapes before venturing off. I did 2 miles on the treadmill and some weights. I came home and dragged Adam out to the library and to my parents to drop some stuff off to them. We came home and I showered and tried to figure out what to have for dinner. I ate some raisins and more grapes while I decided, it took me forever!!!
I settled on a Weight Watchers Chicken Santa Fe and a piece of bread with some butter on the side. This wasn't my favorite frozen dinner but it was chock full of veggies and really filled me up! Like crazy full!

After dinner I helped my sweetie out with his new cell phone then snacked on some more apples and pb2. I was still full from my veggieful dinner but NEEDED something sweet ;) I also had a piece of chocolate.. It was calling me.. hahahha

I'm off to relax with this full belly of mine.. any ideas out there to make the fullness go away? I already walked out to the dumpster to toss some garbage.. lol I hope you all have a great night! 2 more days until the weekend ;-D

Quick Tuesday!

Wow today totally flew by and I am not complaining at all!! I was dreading it since I got done with work at 3:30 but had a meeting at 4 :( Luckily it was quick and painless!!
Onto today's eats:
Breakfast was a bowl of oats (usual but with some Pure Protein in Chocolate) added in.. MMM chocolate in the morning!!! I also brought my mug of coffee on my walk with me. It was in the high 20's but I didn't know if I'd have the energy to head to the gym after my meeting so I figured any walking would be something. The morning flew by and before I knew it, it was lunch time! I walked home to pick up my car, get more coffee and snack on some grapes before I headed back and had some lunch. I had a yogurt with some of my granola and cantaloupe on the side. I also had a few bites of pizza since it was pizza day.. Oh how I love working with kids! hehe

After work I had a cookie and more cantaloupe on my way to the gym. I did a quick 2 miles while watching the end of Oprah and a bit of Tyra and came home to shower and inhale some din din :)

While getting my salad and sweet potato I had tons of grapes and some pretzels.. I had the same salad as a few night ago with a small piece of sweet potato and Newman's Own Salsa. MMM MM GOOD! For dessert I had a piece of chocolate (not pictured) and some apple with some PB2. I had mixed some of the pb up on Friday and tried it plain and wasn't thrilled.. I think my expectations were set a bit high from everyones blogs. I decided to try it again with an apple and really liked it this time!I think I'll be buying a 4 pack from their website. I just got off the phone with my cousin, we were talking about the wedding and about her baby shower! She is due in August. I'm off to watch some Real Housewives on NY and go to bed! OMG let me tell you it is Delish, I've been picking at it here and there all week and its great! I was even nice enough to share with Adam and he really enjoyed it too! My favorite is the Candied Cherries covered in their yummy chocolate! MMM MMM GOOD!

Trying To Lay Low

Hiya
Ok here's today's fun filled day... Woke up around 8:15 which is totally sleeping in for me! I was very very excited, I stayed in bed until about 8:30 and got up to make some coffee and watch the news.. the news is so depressing, so needless to say I didn't keep it on very long.. lol

Breakfast was 1/2 cup eggbeaters with a Laughing Cow Cheese wedge and half a piece of Wegman's Country Oat bread with cottage cheese.. mmm oh and tons of ketchup for the eggs ;)

We went to both of our parents houses to pick up a few things then went to the dollar store, I needed an aluminum pan to cook a cake that I wanted to try out and we got the Sunday paper for $1, its usually 2 bux!! haha we are so thrifty. :-P

Since it was so beautiful out I decided to skip the gym and go to http://www.allairevillage.org/index.html Its so pretty here to walk around, it totally made my day to be outside in warmth! (its gonna get cold again tomorrow.. ugh!) We got home around 1:30ish and I made up some Chobani vanilla with frozen strawberries and blueberries and put some granola and golden grahams on it.. SO SO GOOD!

I then got to baking up a Weight Watchers cake recipe I had seen that I thought would be worth a shot..
all it is :

1 box cake mix
1 egg white
1 can diet cola
mix and put in a 9x12 inch pan and bake for about 45 minutes or until toothpick is clean.

This was so easy to bake and let me tell you it tastes GREAT! I kept some for us and gave the rest to the parents ;) While baking I ate some batter and tons of grapes to try and avoid the batter.. hahah that didn't work too well :-P

I vegged around getting things done for work, reading the paper and cutting out coupons... For dinner I had one of my frozen chickpea cutlets from Vcon with homemade honey mustard to dip it in and some more sweet potato with salsa.. MMMM

I then had some of the cake with frosting ofcourse.. I had cut it for Adam but had to steal some bites.. so no pic.. oopps.. I'll get one tomorrow for ya ;)

I'm off to watch the travel channel with my honey and relax before another fun filled week of work..

Busy Weekend ;-D

How's it going? Sorry I haven't been around It was a busy weekend and today I ran around in the morning and vegged out/baked this afternoon... Sometimes you just need to shut off the technology and enjoy quiet!

I start out with yesterday's eats..

After Friday night's fun of a jager shot before we left and 2.5 beers I was hurting a bit in the morning.. yes I am a LIGHTWEIGHT!!!!! hahah and a cheap date ;) Breakfast was Kashi Raisin Spice Heart to Heart oatmeal with a nice mug of coffee.. MMMI went to the gym to try and sweat out some of the beer and did a quick 2 miles (this was a tough 2 miles on 5 hours of sleep). I then went to my parents just to say hi and ended up baking up some brownies for them.. and eating lots of batter.. This can cure any hangover.. hahaha I came home showered and got ready for the fundraiser/chinese auction for Adam's cousins' cheering squad. Before leaving I had some lunch of Tuna with reduced fat mayo and red onion mixed in and half of a sweet potato with salsa... YUM YUM!!!
I had a diet coke once we got to the bar for the auction, since the thought of alcohol made me quesy.. We then decided to go out to dinner to the best pizza place at the Jersey Shore! http://www.peteandeldas.com/ We left around 5 to get there as soon as we could.. since the wait is usually INSANE! For the first time in a long time we only waited maybe 5 minutes and got a table!! We were very excited... Adam got a salad since he was hungry and I picked a bit on it until our delish pizza.. We got peppers/mushrooms on the whole pizza and Adam got sausage on his half too. I had 2 pieces and was SO FULL!! but oh man was it good and totally hit the spot :-D We then went and walked around Target and hit up Wegman's for some food for the week :) I came home and snacked on a brownie but forgot to take a picture... OOPPS haha

It's Ladies Night...

Here's todays fun-filled eats :)

Breakfast was the usual bowl of oats and my mug of coffee brought with me to work. The morning flew by and the kids were really good! What a great way to end the work week! Lunch was a Dannon Coconut Pineapple yogurt and my homemade granola (so so good!) with cantaloupe. At snack time I had 2 chocolate chip cookies with the kiddies, darn those cookies!! HAHAH I left work and went to the gym for a 2 miles walk on the treadmill and weights and came home to relax before going out tonight...

I came home to a box from http://bbcookies.com/ They look great and I can't wait to try everything! thanks so much Erin Baker's :)

Dinner was a half of a HUGE sweet potato with Newman's Own Salsa and a salad with some roasted red pepper hummus, croutons, and balsamic vinegar.

After that I may have snacked on a ton of grapes and some chocolate covered peanuts.. Gotta have some foodage in the belly for the beer I will be consuming later on ;) hope you all had a wonderful Friday and have a GREAT WEEKEND!

Here's a quick recap of yesterday and todays eats!
Yesterday morning was Kashi Raisin Spice oatmeal and a Dunkin Donuts Toasted Almond coffee with skim milk and splenda.. MMMM Lunch was homemade garlic tomato soup (I'll have to post the recipe tomorrow! its really good) with some wheatables and tons of fresh pineapple!

After work I did a quick 2.5 miles on the treadmill came home and went to the health food store to pick up one of my favorite veggie chicken salad sammies and had some pickles and Stacy's pita chips on the side.. TOTALLY HIT THE SPOT! MY FAVORITE!I had a piece of cake (forgot to take a picture since it was calling my name and I inhaled it.. heheh

MMM Dinner At The Parents

Hey there chickies!

Today was a gorgeous day here at the good old Jersey Shore! It was over 60 degrees here and I enjoyed it as much as I could. I was up at ready to go and made a yummy bowl of oats and brought a mug of coffee with me on my walk to work. The morning flew by since we were outside playing for about 40 minutes. Before I knew it, it was lunch time and even though I wasn't too hungry I ate my yogurt/cereal mix and some pineapple while talking about our favorite bad for us fast foods :) I love working with all women sometimes, at least we all know what the other is going through when it comes to eating.. lol

I was out the door for my walk home at 3:30, I came home ate 2 handfuls of grapes and got ready for the gym. There I did 2 miles on the treadmill and lifted, and came home to get ready for dinner with my family.

We were celebrating Adam's birthday and my dad made veal bolognese with tortellini and I made my "famous" garlic bread.. hahah omg I ate so much!!!!! It was so freaking good! I miss living at home let me tell ya ;) I also had a few bites of Adam's cake (a few too many) lol
It was nice to sit and talk with my family for a while since dad is still not doing too well :( He is now retaining water and thinking it might be heart related.. since he hasn't been eating anything too salty and he is already on water pills.. UGH! can someone say stress?!?!??! at least the weekend is almost here! I've got a girls night out with one of my bridesmaids on Friday and I can't wait :-D Hope everyone had a great day..
