ITS ALMOST FRIDAY!!!!!

HIYA!

I barely slept last night, but surprisingly I'm still kicking and its after 8! I woke up at 6 after finally falling asleep around 1:30ish. I got out of bed at 7 and checked my email and talked to my mom. I then made up a bowl of oats and some coffee for breakfast. I walked to work today since it was supposed to be toasty=50! It was a nice easy day in kiddies land at the morning flew by since we were outside for over a half hour. By lunch I wasn't very hungry but figured I might as well eat. I totally putzed out this morning (since I was on barely any sleep) and brought 1/2 a sweet potato instead of my cut up pear :( So lunch was the sweet potato and cottage cheese.. It tasted good but just wasn't what I wanted. At snacktime I had 3 handfuls of froot loops since I wasn't feeling too satified from lunch. I walked home after work to get ready for the gym and had about a cup of grapes since I was getting hungry!

I went to the gym and did 2 miles on the treadmill while reading a trashy mag and did some weights since my wrist is feeling a bit better :) I stopped off at the parents house quickly to pick up a few things and say hi. I came home showered and made up some din din. I didn't know what I was in the mood for, so after having 2 big forkfuls of cold baked ziti I decided on an Amy's burger with Laughing Cow Cheese, homemade ketchup which was very thick, some pickles and a few pita chips. Desert was a bowl of Cherry Jello and Cool Whip, I also may have had a chocolate chip cookie from mommy.. hehe I'm now sitting with Adam (he's doing good after his surgery! :-D) watching Survivor. I decided on going to Atlantic City with the girls this weekend so its should be a fun time! I plan on resting up good tomorrow for a LOOONG night Saturday ;)

Another Busy One

Well today is another go go go kinda day so here is my quick recap.. Lots of pictures missing since I was rushing and just wanted food in my belly!!! lol

Breakfast was a bowl of oats, eaten with Adam this morning since he had his gum surgery. Poor guy couldn't even sleep in :( I also brought a mug of coffee with me for a caffeine boost. I walked to work today and came home at lunch to pick up the car since I knew this afternoon would be busy. Lunch was a Dannon Light and Fit and a Pear. I also mixed in some cheerios into my cereal for CRUNCH! At snack time I may have had a handful or 2 of froot loops ;)

I went to the gym and did a quick 2 miles and came home to my baby laying on the couch.. He's doing ok, just uncomfortable. They ended up putting in some bone growing stuff b/c his bone in between 2 of his molars is disappearing! NOT GOOD! lets hope this helps! I showered and ate the other half of my veggie delight from last night with some pita chips and 2 handfuls of grapes afterward.


I went to my class on inclusion and got a decaf hazelnut coffee from Dunkin Donuts with skim milk and splenda. When I finally got home tonight around 8:45 I had an orange and a few (maybe more) jelly beans! My tummy was growling during the class.. haha Probably out of boredom.. I talked to my friend tonight and we might be going to AC for Saturday night I"ll see if I can handle it money wise... We will see.. ;) Oh and I almost forgot! I came home to a package from Gnufoods.com Thanks so much to Robyn for sending me a bunch of fun samples to try! I can't wait! I tried the Chocolate Brownie last week and loved it.. When I try them I will definitely let you all know how they are :)

2 Day Run Down

Hey There Chickies!

Here's my run down of Monday and today!

Yesterday was oatmeal (usual) and my mug of coffee to bring to work with me. It was a nice light day of kiddies in the morning but that changed in the afternoon. Lunch was a light and fit yogurt with a pear, and some cheerios mixed in. At snack time I had a BIG handful of froot loops.. MMM I then raced home since I had to stay late at work because there were so many kids there and the high school girl texted my boss saying she was SICK! UGH! I came home showered and ate a very early dinner of pb&j. We then went of to bowl with Joe and he kicked my BUTT. I bowled a 148,165,145. Joe's 2nd game was a 278 he bowled 9 strikes in a row! I snacked a about half a brownie and had some diet pepsi there. I was in a funk when we got home so I had a few pieces of chocolate. Which made me decide to cut way back on it for lent, its so sad I know I could never give it up. But I figured cutting back is a good goal, needless to say my Hershey's heart that I got for Vday has been tossed in the garbage!

Onto today.. I woke up around 7 and got my day started, I did some crunches (belly was not happy about this) and snacked on a spooky smores Zbar and about a cup of grapes that I forgot to take a picture of.

Lunch was a cup of Pacific Foods Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato soup with a pear. MMM Love that soup! At snack I had a Kashi Pumpkin Pie Bar YUMO!

I went to the gym and did about 2 miles on the treadmill and lifted as much as I could since my wrist was hurting from bowling.. I feel like such an old person but I always had problem with it, since I bowled 3x a week in high school for the school team.(when I was much better!!!)

Dinner was Subway since Adam has his gum surgery tomorrow and wanted something big and yummy that he wouldn't be able to chew for awhile after it.. poor guy. I got a veggie delight on honey oat bread with honey mustard dressing. I had half with a few pieces of cheese that mom gave us from last night... I also had a few Stacy's pita chips. Dessert was a WW chocolate cake since its my last HOORAH with chocolate.. Or atleast I'm trying.. hahah I'm off to be lazy have a great night Ya'll!!! :-D

Lazy Days....Well Sort Of...

Good Evening All!

Here's my recap of my day.....

I was up at 7 since I can NEVER sleep in on the weekends..I got up around 8 and made some coffee and tried to hold off on breakfast until Adam got up but I couldn't wait. I had my usual bowl of oats but for some reason they came out EXTRA CREAMY today! I am not complaining at all.. they were delish! I was full but had to finish em off cause they were that good! I went to the gym, as Adam was getting up lol and did 2 miles on the treadmill doing some intervals and some weights. I ran to my parents to pick some things up for my brother's Bowling party tomorrow night.. He is the only senior on the varsity team so my mom was "in charge" of the party.. I get to bowl with him, since neither of my parents bowl anymore.. Lucky me!! :-P I'll kick his butt! I came home showered and got ready to run out to do a few things.. We picked up some things at Walmart (I needed socks, Adam got some Gatorade) then we went to Big Lots (its right down the highway from Walmart) and Aldi just to looks around. We didn't find anything but it was fun to just walk around and look at the randomness.. We got home around 1:30 and I was STARVING! I had munched on some nuts and dried fruit before we left because I knew I would be hungry.. I had my yogurt parfait that I picked up at Wegman's yesterday.. I love these so much! I then had a few Doritos and jelly beans through out the afternoon ;) I did some reading today, mostly looking at the sale fliers and looking at the deals on new cars ;)

I cleaned up a bit and got some work done and vegged out for the rest of the afternoon until it ws time to throw my ziti in the oven. Boy was I glad I made up it last night so all I had to do was cook it tonight. We also had salad and some garlic bread with it, this totally hit the spot. I made it was WW penne and ff ricotta to make it a bit healthier. I had a small glass of Pinot Grigio with it since it was a nice dinner kinda night. For dessert I had (unpictured) a few chocolate covered honey roasted peanuts and some cherry jello with cool whip. I still have the garlic taste in my mouth from the bread!!! OPPPS I hope it goes away for work tomorrow! I think I'll be brushing my teeth again before bed! :-P


I hope everyone had a great weekend! I have a feeling it will be a late night tomorrow with bowling and all, but I'll try to do a recap! Toodles!

I Love Saturdays!

I got so much done today!!! I woke up way too early this morning..BIG SHOCKER! I made a pot of coffee for Adam and I then had a bowl of Kashi Bluberry Oat Clusters with a banana and light vanilla soymilk. I also had a bite or 2 of Adam's sausage and eggs :) I got a couple things done and went to the gym. I did 2.5 miles and went to my parents to do my laundry, and bake a Duncun Hines Carrot Cake. I had way too much batter but boy was it yummy ;) I came home and put away all my laundry had a few walnuts and showered. I was feeling kinda yucky from all the batter so I just settled on a pear and cottage cheese to hopefully ease my belly.
I got my lesson plans done for this coming week and some other things and then we headed out to Target and Wegman's! My favorite things to do on the weekend.. haha I'm such a dork!I got some Jelly Belly Jelly Beans at Wegman's and snacked a on few in the car. They are my favorite jelly beans.. We finally came home around 6 and got to cooking.
I made a hamsteak cooked in pineapple juice. I had a sweet potato on the side with Newman's Pineapple salsa. YUMO! Since I was in the cooking mood I whipped up a lowfat baked ziti for tomorrow night too. I also made some tiramisu for Adam for dessert which I had one too many bites of (sorry no pic.. I was a piggy) We are now watching Goodfellas since I've never seen it! I hope everyone had a great day! see ya'll tomorrow.

Feeling Blah

After this past week I'm just feeling a bit blue. I'll just give a quick recap of my eats yesterday ;)

Friday's breakfast was my ususal oatmeal and coffee which totally hit the spot! The morning was crazy and once lunch time hit I was starving! I had my Dannon Light and Fit Kiwi Strawberry and a pear. I then had to talk to a parent about their childs behavior.. This is what made the day not so fun... I went to the gym right after work to DE STRESS and did 2.25 miles on the treadmill and came home to find Adam home already :) We decided on going out to dinner after both having a rough week. We tried Applebee's across the street, but our waitress never came to us!!!!!!!!! Needless to say after 15 minutes of staring at the menu we got up and left. We went to a pub down the street from us http://www.porchpub.com/ I got a cosmo and a cheeseburger (cheddar) with sweet potato fries. OMG now I know why this place is known for their burgers!!! As you all may have noticed I'm not a big red meat eater at all but I've been craving a good burger and this fit the bill! I ate half and some fries and some of Adam's salad. I also was bad and got another cosmo. MMMM Needless to say I was tipsy but very happy and relaxed. We then went to A&P to pick up some breakfasty stuff for today. I checked out cars and car insurance once we came home I also snacked on a piece of Hershey's dark chocolate truffle from my vday heart and a chocolate covered peanut... yum yum! (there was lots of water drinking in there too!! I was then ready to hit the hay by 11ish and passed out!!!

Wow today was a busy day! We only had 10 kiddies but they were full of energy. I was up ready to go this morning. I wasn't really hungry but made up my usual bowl of oats and some coffee. At snack time one of my co workers who recently went to Italy brought back these tasty cookies and let me tell you they were GREAT! I mean anything chocolate is a winner in my book but I really enjoyed these :)Since I walked to work and it started to look like rain I walked home at lunch in a drizzle to pick up my car, and some more coffee since I was chilly!!

Lunch while the kids rested was a bowl of Pacific Foods Roasted Red Pepper Tomato soup with some Wheatables on the side. MMMM I love this soup so much! After work on my way to the gym I had a pear since I was getting hungry. At the gym I did some weights and around 2 miles on the treadmill and ran to the dollar store to pick up a few things for work.

After coming home and getting some stuff done like showering ;) I made up dinner, which was half of a big old sweet potato with Newman's Own Pineapple Salsa. I also had a salad with some roasted red pepper hummus and croutons. I put some Newman's Own Lighten Up Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing . I am almost done with it! I'll have to get some more :) As I was eating one of my bridesmaids called and we chatted for a bit. I cleaned up the apartment since Adam's still working and now I'm snacking on a Weight Watchers Brownie that I heated up in the microwave for about 10 seconds. Its not too bad, I'd rather a no pudge brownie though if I'm going for low fat ;) I'm off to catch up on my blog reading! See everyone tomorrow :-D

Holy Humpday!

Well my alarm woke me up this morning (I set my cell phone just in case). I got up and got ready and made up my usual bowl of oats and my travel mug of coffee. When I got to work I saw it was NUTS! I had more children today than yesterday, which is usually my heavy day! They were a bit wild so I was glad the rain held off for the morning so we could go OUT! At lunch I wasn't very hungry yet, those oats really fill me up! I ate anyway though since I had a ton of kids in my room resting. They really don't rest though, they just do everything in their power to drive me wacky... Lunch was the same as yesterday yogurt and an orange, these navel oranges are great :) I also had a few froot loops when I was putting out snack. I didn't get out of work until after 4 since there were a ton of kids still there. I snacked on some pretzels and almonds on my way out the door to the gym. There I did almost 2.25 miles and just wanted to get home! Adam had to work a 13 hour day today and he still isn't home.. poor guy.. so I was on my own tonight. I made up a grilled cheese on ww with a gallon of ketchup and some pita chips (ate a bunch before taking a pic) and a few Doritos. Adam has to finish these tasty things up!! lol I also had a few spoonfuls of his chili but no picture ;) I inhaled it! I got a few odds and ends done and snacked on some cherry sf jello with cool whip, a piece of my dad's chocolate may have snuck in before the camera also... ooppsThis is what happens when I have a Megan night.. lots of yummy eats! lol I'm off to watch some food network and read all your blogs! 2 more days until the weekend, have a great night :-D

Darn Alarm Clock!

I over slept today!!! I have not done that since High School! My alarm went off but I have it on radio and it wasn't coming in, so it wasn't making any noise. I woke up at 7:50 instead of 7:30 and flew out of my bed. I don't work well rushing at all, and all I could think of was I better have time to eat.. ahhah Thank goodness I did and I got to work on time! maybe even a bit early, damn I'm good. For breakfast I picked up a new bar that I've been meaning to try its a Gnu Fiber bar in chocolate and I was pleasantly surprised. It was really good, and I plan on buying more of these next time I see them in the store. Luckily the morning flew by and by lunch I was ready to relax for a bit. I had my orange and since I wasn't really hungry from my flippy belly I saved my yogurt for the kids nap time.

After work I went to the gym and did 2.25 miles on the treadmill and lifted. I came home and got situated and got in the shower. I had a handful of peanuts and some raisins when I came home since I was alittle hungry and didn't know when Adam was getting home tonight from work.
Adam had chili tonight so I decided to go easy on my belly since it was still funny from rushing this morning. I had a salad with some hummus on top and some Newman's Own Lighten Up Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing. I also had a half of a big sweet potato with Newman's Own Mango Salsa, it was a Newman's kinda night ;) We went to shop rite to do some food shopping since I had some coupons and they had some good deals. I came home with some weight watchers snacks to try since they were on sale and I had a coupon. I had the chocolate cake tonight, they are SMALL!!! At first they had an icky fake taste... then I heated it up and it tasted better. I also had a few peanut mm's after it. I got some stuff done for work=cutting out "Lincoln's hat" for the kiddies to paint tomorrow. I think it may be an early night tonight. Hope your Tuesday flew by as quickly as mine did! One Meeting Down!

Well we got our first meeting with the pastor out of the way! She seems very nice and upbeat which is always a good thing. We have to take an online questionnaire to find out our "strengths" and were we need to "grow". This should be interesting!! hahah When we got home around 6:15 I was just getting hungry, which surprised me since I'm always hungry.. what is my deal? I did have a cup of Sleigh Ride tea before we left but I doubt that filled me up! I had a PB & J on WW with some Brother's All Natural chips. I love this dinner so easy and comforting, which totally works for me! I snacked on some grapes as usual and had an orange (forgot to take a pic but we know what oranges look like ;) I'm now watching Food Network and relaxing with my sweetie pie before my work week begins.. Last Day of Freedom!

I finally slept in today!! I woke up at 8 and was so excited when I looked at the clock. I slept over 8 hours and boy did I need it! I wasn't very hungry so I made some coffee and watched the news for a bit, until Adam's breakfast was almost done cooking. I then made my normal bowl of oats. It totally hit the spot! Along with a bite of Adam's fried eggs and pork roll ;) I baked a new bread today which I got from http://zestycook.com/homemade-bubbly-beer-bread/. It came out great! I completely forgot to take a picture though and already cut it up for freezing and giving to the parents. I figured it would go well with Adam's chili that he made yesterday. I also cleaned up the apt. a bit while letting food settle in my belly. I then went to the gym and did a quick 2.5 miles on the treadmill watching Rachel Ray and came home to shower and get ready to do a few errands with Adam. We mailed out our save the date finally today!! Its about time! lol.

We went for a walk through Manasquan town since it is so nice out, came home and I was getting HUNGRY. I had a huge pear with 3/4 cup whipped cottage cheese, but while figuring out what to have I snacked on some dried fruit (dried apples, pears, peaches, and plums) These were so good and moist. We are now watching Pretty in Pick and enjoying our day off until we have to go for our meeting with the Pastor who is doing our wedding. While watching I snacked on one of the new Quaker True Delights bars that I got free from Foodbuzz. I had the Dark Chocolate Raspberry Almond and it was very tasty.

I really enjoyed it and would definitely buy some! Hope you all are having a great President's Day/ Monday.

Wow This Mini Vaca Is Flying By!

I can't believe its Sunday night already!! Where did the weekend go? I woke up way too early this morning around 6ish but stayed in bed till about 7:30. I got up and made some coffee while checking email and watching the news. I was waiting for Adam to get up to get my oats started, so the minute he was up I was getting my foodage together :) I had my normal bowl of oats (banana, light original soy milk, grape nuts) and my coffee while chatting with Adam as he made his breakfast.
I went to the gym and did 2.5 miles on the treadmill and weights. I came home and we went across the street to A&P for Adam's goodies to make his yummy chilly. Once home He started cooking and I got to scrubbing the bathroom. Tons of fun for a Sunday morning :-P After cleaning and showering I started to get hungry around 12:30ish and made a bowl of Trader Joe's Greek Yogurt with strawberries and blueberries. I also mixed in some Golden Grahams for some CRUNCH! MMMM I also had a big ol' handful of grapes.
I decided to get my butt in gear and print out the labels finally for the save the dates. It took awhile to get the right size font but I finally got it! I then went to the parents house to do laundry, while there I also made some cookies. (forgot my camera since it was charging at home) I made double chocolate chunk and Oatmeal chocolate chip (both by Better Crocker in the pouch)I did try some cookie dough and it was YUMMY! Even though my tummy is way funny lately and this was not a good idea. Mom and I did some bonding over wedding stuff and once my laundry was finally done I came home to Adam watching the Daytona 500. I tried a tiny bowl of his chili that he made with chopped meat and pork tenderloin and it was really good!!! I'm not a huge chili fan but I really enjoyed it alot! I also had a salad to go with it. It had some roasted red pepper hummus, roasted red/yellow peppers, green pepper, cucs, lettuces, croutons and some balsamic vinegar for dressing. This totally hit the spot, I then was cutting up the rice krispie treats that I had made to give some to Joe and ate a small piece (no pic it was shoved in my face faster than you could imagine)hahah
Joe and I had a date to go bowling down the street since they have 1.75 games Sunday night from 7-9. Unfortunately the place was crazy packed and the wait would be forever so we left. I was so disappointed :( Instead I came home and had a piece of Daddy's chocolates the Grand Marnier one. SO FREAKING GOOD!!! I also had a few peanut mm's on the side. Chocolate cravings are out of control since we have tons in the house.. GET IT AWAY!!!!!!! hahah I'm now off to watch some rich bride poor bride.. See you all tomorrow! I've got one more day off!!! :-D
