Stupid Car!

Ok so I was having such a good stretch with my car until this morning when it wouldn't start! I then tried to move Adam's car, which was stuck in our spot with an icy mess all around it :( Needless to say I called my aide who lives in the same complex, she saved me even though she was already at work! What a life saver because I didn't want to walk to work in the frigidness today! I woke up a minute before my alarm and started getting ready. I had a bowl of 1/2 Kashi Blueberry Oat Clusters and 1/2 Trader Joe's Raisin Bran with a banana and light vanilla soy milk. There was also a good handful or 2 of grapes eaten when trying to figure out breakfast this morning.. I WAS STARVING!!! MMM I also brought a big mug of coffee with me to school.
The morning totally dragged this morning and I was more than ready to tear into my lunch when it was finally time! I had a Dannon Light and Fit with an orange and some froot loops.. At snack I had a Kashi Pumpkin Pie bar to hold me over until I got home from the gym (hoping my car would work to get me there!) My mommy was nice enough to pick me up from work and drop me off.. I was finally able to tell the kids my mommy was getting me.. and they were all like HUH?!? My car did start and I made my way to the gym and did 2.5 miles on the treadmill and came home to shower and putz around a bit since Adam had another class tonight.

I then made the best dinner EVER! PB&J on a potato roll with the rest of my sweet potato fries. SO SO GOOD!!!! I have always loved potato rolls but don't eat them anymore since they are not whole grains.. But Adam wanted them for the sloppy joe, and I figured why not? I also had some yummy ice tea with it...It made my day much better.. hahah I'm such a dork! I did some ab work then made Adam a microwave cake for when he came home.. I had a bite (to make sure it was good ) and an apple with cinnamon for dessert. I'm now relaxing on the couch with my sweetie listening to American Idol (he's a big fan) lol Hope your day went better than mine! See ya tomorrow :-D

Holy Humpday!

Well my alarm woke me up this morning (I set my cell phone just in case). I got up and got ready and made up my usual bowl of oats and my travel mug of coffee. When I got to work I saw it was NUTS! I had more children today than yesterday, which is usually my heavy day! They were a bit wild so I was glad the rain held off for the morning so we could go OUT! At lunch I wasn't very hungry yet, those oats really fill me up! I ate anyway though since I had a ton of kids in my room resting. They really don't rest though, they just do everything in their power to drive me wacky... Lunch was the same as yesterday yogurt and an orange, these navel oranges are great :) I also had a few froot loops when I was putting out snack. I didn't get out of work until after 4 since there were a ton of kids still there. I snacked on some pretzels and almonds on my way out the door to the gym. There I did almost 2.25 miles and just wanted to get home! Adam had to work a 13 hour day today and he still isn't home.. poor guy.. so I was on my own tonight. I made up a grilled cheese on ww with a gallon of ketchup and some pita chips (ate a bunch before taking a pic) and a few Doritos. Adam has to finish these tasty things up!! lol I also had a few spoonfuls of his chili but no picture ;) I inhaled it! I got a few odds and ends done and snacked on some cherry sf jello with cool whip, a piece of my dad's chocolate may have snuck in before the camera also... ooppsThis is what happens when I have a Megan night.. lots of yummy eats! lol I'm off to watch some food network and read all your blogs! 2 more days until the weekend, have a great night :-D

Darn Alarm Clock!

I over slept today!!! I have not done that since High School! My alarm went off but I have it on radio and it wasn't coming in, so it wasn't making any noise. I woke up at 7:50 instead of 7:30 and flew out of my bed. I don't work well rushing at all, and all I could think of was I better have time to eat.. ahhah Thank goodness I did and I got to work on time! maybe even a bit early, damn I'm good. For breakfast I picked up a new bar that I've been meaning to try its a Gnu Fiber bar in chocolate and I was pleasantly surprised. It was really good, and I plan on buying more of these next time I see them in the store. Luckily the morning flew by and by lunch I was ready to relax for a bit. I had my orange and since I wasn't really hungry from my flippy belly I saved my yogurt for the kids nap time.

After work I went to the gym and did 2.25 miles on the treadmill and lifted. I came home and got situated and got in the shower. I had a handful of peanuts and some raisins when I came home since I was alittle hungry and didn't know when Adam was getting home tonight from work.
Adam had chili tonight so I decided to go easy on my belly since it was still funny from rushing this morning. I had a salad with some hummus on top and some Newman's Own Lighten Up Low Fat Sesame Ginger Dressing. I also had a half of a big sweet potato with Newman's Own Mango Salsa, it was a Newman's kinda night ;) We went to shop rite to do some food shopping since I had some coupons and they had some good deals. I came home with some weight watchers snacks to try since they were on sale and I had a coupon. I had the chocolate cake tonight, they are SMALL!!! At first they had an icky fake taste... then I heated it up and it tasted better. I also had a few peanut mm's after it. I got some stuff done for work=cutting out "Lincoln's hat" for the kiddies to paint tomorrow. I think it may be an early night tonight. Hope your Tuesday flew by as quickly as mine did! One Meeting Down!

Well we got our first meeting with the pastor out of the way! She seems very nice and upbeat which is always a good thing. We have to take an online questionnaire to find out our "strengths" and were we need to "grow". This should be interesting!! hahah When we got home around 6:15 I was just getting hungry, which surprised me since I'm always hungry.. what is my deal? I did have a cup of Sleigh Ride tea before we left but I doubt that filled me up! I had a PB & J on WW with some Brother's All Natural chips. I love this dinner so easy and comforting, which totally works for me! I snacked on some grapes as usual and had an orange (forgot to take a pic but we know what oranges look like ;) I'm now watching Food Network and relaxing with my sweetie pie before my work week begins.. Another Bingeful Kinda Day

UGH Today was another one of "those" day, with hormones and stress I ate like a big ol PIGGY!
Breakfast was a bowl of Fiber One Honey Oats with some of the bottom of the bag of Honey Bunches of Oats, cinnamon, banana and LF Vanilla Soy Milk. I also had handful of peanuts while making my coffee to bring to work. I have no idea why its sideways!!! HAHA



At work I had about half a cup of cheerios at snack time then for lunch was a Dannon Light and Fit with an orange. Snack was 2 chocolate covered pretzels from one of the kiddies. I then went to the gym and did alittle over 2 miles on the treadmill and some weights. I came home to find out daddy's home. No answers to what happened but he is home! Thank goodness!

Dinner was an English muffin with one egg, ff cheese, and a piece of Canadian bacon. I also had a half of a sweet potato on the side and munched on more nuts about 2 handfuls while figuring out what the heck to eat for dinner. We ran out to the store to pick up a roasted chicken for dinner tomorrow night and I went to see daddy. He was in bed, he exhausted from not sleeping for the past 2 days :( I then came home, did some cleaning and ate some more. I had 2 bites of chocolate cake(the microwave one from a few nights ago) and 2 peanut butter cookies. I NEED TO STOP! Needless to say I've thrown away some junk food just to get it out. I'm not hungry but its there so I eat. This emotional eating HAS GOT TO STOP!!! Sorry for venting I just need to get it all out. I hope everyone had a good Tuesday.
