Saturday's Recap

Lets see.. what to start... I was hungry while I was getting ready to go to the memorial so I snacked on a big old handful of peanuts while running around getting ready and trying to figure out what the hell to wear. Adam came and picked me up looking very cute in his khakis and dress shirt (I love to see him dressed all snazzy!) When we got there I decided I needed a drink, family get togethers lately always lead to me having a few ;) so I got a cosmo and darn was it strong on my hungry belly! It went right to my head! oopps! The food was really good! I had 3/4 slice of pizza (what they are known for) a big old meatball and some salad. Then I got a Blue Blue with an orange slice and wow do I really like these alot! Desert was then put out and I got a piece of poppy seed cake that my cousin made and a piece of this amazing chocolate cheesecake. I had of bite of the poppy seed cake and gave it to my mom, I WANTED THE CHOCOLATE! So I ate alittle more than half of the slice and it was amazing of course. I also tried a bite of the nut cake too, since everyone was critiquing them ;-) I had to put in my 2 sense... It was really nice to see my family and the sons of my uncle who passed. The three boys and I never saw eachother much so I'm hoping to keep in touch with them now through my one cousins girlfriend :)
On the way home we stopped at Whole Foods, I was so happy.. Tipsy at Whole Foods makes it even more fun than normal. I got some fresh ground almond butter which I can't wait to have, some Larabars for Adam and I both to try some salad for today and a bagel. I tried some of the bagel when I got home because my belly was starting to rumble around 7:45 and I knew I needed something or I would be up all night. I had about 1/4 of it with half of it with jelly and the other with a garlic and herb laughing cow. This hit the spot! I also snaked on some chips and salsa when Adam busted it out later on. My friend Kelli came over (one of my bridesmaids) so there was some beer drinking between she and Adam so snacks had to come out :-D I showed Kelli some of the dresses I have been looking at and we all just hung out and talked. It was a nice and relaxing night after a long day. I promise to have pictures today of food. I've been so bad but I felt funny taking food pics at a memorial service. I did not really see it as appropriate ;) I'll be back once sleeping beauty wakes up with a breakfast post !
